In response to the biodiversity crisis, we advocate for spatial justice—ensuring that diverse species can find a habitat within the city. what if: projects transform urban landscapes into environments with wild spaces, where various forms of life can flourish. We prioritise a multi-species perspective, centring on the needs of different organisms and highlighting our interdependence and entanglements with one another. With each project, we seek to broaden our understanding of ecosystems and find imaginative ways to communicate from the perspective of species that lack a voice.
