Thursday 28.03. 11am-2pm Movement and Body Awareness Workshops For the Over 60s These is a free series of four workshops that aimed at the over 60s but anyone interested is welcome to come along. The intention is to create an awareness and understanding of how our bodies function through simple and gentle exercises, where everyone is free to do as much or as little as they can. Aging changes our relationship with our bodies and it often starts to become problematic as years of wear and tear leave their marks. We will try and look at the body from a new angle and hopefully discover a joy in movement and a respect for our bodies and what they can do. The workshops will take place in the sports hall at the Albert, a new community centre at 5 Albert road. All sessions will run from 11am to 2pm with a 45 minute break. Food, snacks and hot drinks are available from the Albert Café or feel free to bring your own. Comfortable clothing that does not restrict movement are recommended. 2. Thursday 28th March
